The mysterious sansrival cake

No fanfare greeted me as I turned 25.

SOP as usual especially it fell on a regular work day. But I decided to make it fun by dressing up for work when I knew everyone else would be on a tshirt and sneakers ensemble. Hehe, it kindda worked. My workmates were amused. They thought of me moonlighting as a Jollibee guy.

The next day, my workstation saw hastily-prepared tokens for my special day including a piece of yummy sansrival cake. Nobody from work could tell whoever left that treat on my station and up to now, I'm still clueless. I'm touched though with the sweet anonymous gesture.

Hmm, if only my little pals on my workstation could speak...

Floody tale from Valero

Stranded. Time to kill time. My hands on my digicam to keep it warm and clicking.

Torrential rain and gusty wind whip through the towers of Valero making pedestrians at road level seemed like poor chicks lost from mother hen's care.

Then I saw one lady screaming from the other side of the street. With barefeet, she was braving the floodwaters to chase for the other pair of her sandals. Too bad, it was swept away. At least, she still got the other half.

All these before my eyes on the morning of August 15, 2007.

Sky-high at 70th UAAP season Cheerdance Competition

First time kong makapasok sa dambuhalang Araneta Coliseum. At first time kong makapanood ng live ng isang UAAP event.

Maski hindi ako taga-UP, ang paaralang gumiba ng "sky-high" six straight win dream ng UST para sa cheerdance competition ng UAAP, buong puso akong nag-cheer sa mga kapwa ko iskolar ng bayan.

Kakalimutan ko na lang na minsan akong sumuporta sa paaralang ito kapag napabilang na sa UAAP and sintang paaralang PUP. Hehehe...
