After being made envious by weekend bikers back home in Antipolo and was inspired by cyclists at the recent SCTEx 94K Weekend, I finally clinched a step closer to a healthier me with less carbon footprint by taking this bike (yey bike!) into my custody.
It's a second-hand piece of metal contraption salvaged from a friend's bodega. Though it is scabbed with rust, tires gone flat, the front brake isn't working, and bears other signs of wear ang tear (See the water bottle? It's brittle na rin.), a little help will bring this rickety thing back to life.
It's love at first padyak. It may take some time to upgrade my bike (yey bike!) considering I'm living on a dormer's budget. But then, if one desires to reach Point B from Point A, one has to work on it one padyak at a time.
